One of her most cherished memories at her alma mater was being named 2010 Homecoming Queen.Īnne Elise developed a strong passion for weather at a young age. She is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Mississippi State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Geoscience, with a major emphasis in Broadcast Meteorology and a minor in Communication. Meteorologist Anne Elise Parks is a native of New Albany, Mississippi. Scott loves being active whether it is in the gym, hiking, running or traveling. Scott is also an Emmy Award nominated meteorologist bringing more than 22 years of forecasting and broadcasting experience to North Texas. In 2006, he was awarded the Seal of Approval of the American Meteorological Society. Scott is both a member of the National Weather Association and the American Meteorological Society. However, he is now glad to be "back home" with family. But being from a military family, Scott is used to moving. Scott has been challeged with ice storms, hurricanes, tornadoes and desert heat. Thanks to his dad, his fear turned into a fascination, leading him to study meteorology at Western Illinois University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in meteorology and a double minor in broadcasting and math.ĭuring Scott's career, he has moved to and forecasted for many different climates. He still remembers watching with amazement at the force of the wind and the intensity of the lightning. Scott and his father would sit on the front porch watching the storms roll into his neighborhood. Oddly enough, he had a fear of the weather from the time he was 3 until he was about 12. Like many meteorologists, Scott's interest in weather started at an early age. She is married and lives in New York City.Chief Meteorologist Scott Padgett joined CBS 11 in September 2013. She enjoys traveling, running through new neighborhoods, and is a huge supporter of animal rights and welfare. Medgie is from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and loves experiencing life with family and friends.
Her first taste as a reporter began at Temple Update, the student-run TV station at her alma mater Temple University in Philadelphia (Go Owls!). Medgie also filled-in as the entertainment reporter for CBS-FM.īefore making New York home, she was a reporter and anchor for WNEP (ABC) Newswatch 16 in Scranton, Pennsylvania WETM (NBC) in Elmira, New York where she earned an Associated Press Award for Best Enterprise Reporting and TV2 News in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She also worked as a general assignment reporter covering breaking news for WCBS/CBS2 New York. As the Northeast Correspondent based in New York, she became part of "Wake Up With Al" and MSNBC as she criss-crossed the country, chasing storms and humanizing the aftermath. Her first day on-air was the launch of AMHQ with Sam Champion. Prior to FOX 5, Raegan worked at The Weather Channel. Raegan Medgie is an award-winning reporter who joined the FOX 5 News Team in June 2017.
